One Window Facilitation Desk

  • Government Of Pakistan has launched One Window Facilitation Desk at Following Seven Airports:

National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)
New NICOP (First Time)
Requirements for First Time NICOP
  • NICOP form duly completed . (Instructions to fill the NICOP form)
  • Copy of CNIC or Manual ID card/ Old ID card. (enter CNIC number in field 5)
  • If applicant does not have Manual ID card (old ID card) or CNIC, attach copies of any of the following documents:
    • Old Pakistani passport
    • ‘Bay’ Form
    • Pakistani Birth Certificate
    • Matriculation / School Leaving Certificate
    • Citizenship Certificate from Ministry of Interior (MOI).
  • Copy of Valid Pakistani or US/ Foreign passport. (Foreign Passport must be valid OR notarized copy of expired Pakistani Passport).
  • CNIC/NICOP copy of any blood relative (Father/ Mother/ Brother/ Sister/ Paternal Grand Father/ Grand Mother).
  • If a married FEMALE APPLICANTS need their husband’s name on the NICOP attach a copy of Marriage Certificate (Nikkah Nama) and husband's CNIC/NICOP in case they need to remove husband’s name a copy of divorce certificate is required.
  • For Children born in USA attach a copy of birth certificate along with copy of Parent’s NIC/CNIC/NICOP. (Parents’ marital status must be married on their NIC/CNIC/NICOP)
  • For Children born in Pakistan attach a copy of Child Registration Certificate or Birth Certificate or Bay Form along with copy of Parent’s NIC/CNIC/NICOP (Parents’ marital status must be married on their NIC/CNIC/NICOP)
  • 2 recent passport size photographs with white background (front view) not older than 3 months.(Without glasses)
  • In case you are holding a POC you need to first apply for cancellation of POC.
  • $55 (includes DHL home delivery charge)
  • There is no urgent service or fast track service from the Consulate.

(Fee is non refundable. Fee should be in the form of money order or cashier’s check payable to “CONSULATE GENERAL OF PAKISTAN”. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.)

Processing Time:
  • Approximate processing time of a NICOP application is 3-4 months.
  • Delivery of card can be delayed due to incomplete/invalid information, missing documents or verification problems.

When applying through mail, send a stamped, self addressed return envelope for delivery of receipt / acknowledgement of your application. (USPS only)

The card will be delivered by DHL mail directly from NADRA headquarters Islamabad to your United States address, mentioned in the NICOP application form. Please make sure that your address on the application is correct.

Tracking of NICOP application
  • You can track the status of your NICOP application after 3-4 months by visiting NADRA’s website www.nadra.gov.pk and using NICOP receipt number printed on top right corner of your receipt (omit starting two zeros “00”)
  • You can also call NADRA Call Centre Islamabad directly at 92-51-9208606 or 92-51-111786100 to check the status of your application. If you do not receive your card within 10 weeks you can LAUNCH A COMPLAINT by visiting NADRA’s website. All complaints about NICOP card will be answered only through COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM http://www.nadra.gov.pk/chat/complaint/index.php.
