Requirements for Birth Certificate


  • Birth Certificate Form duly completed and signed by the applicant/ward.
  • Copy of Pakistani passport or CNIC/NICOP/CRC
  • To add mother’s name on birth certificate, submit applicant’s birth certificate or mother’s Pakistani passport/CNIC/NICOP containing husband’s name.

    • Regular - $5
    • Urgent - $10
(Fee is non refundable. Fee should be in the form of money order or cashier’s check payable to “CONSULATE GENERAL OF PAKISTAN”. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.)
Processing Time
    • In person
      • Regular – Next day
      • Urgent – Same day
    • By Mail
      • Regular – 7 days (after receipt of documents)
      • Urgent – 2 days (after receipt of documents)
If applying through mail, a self addressed prepaid envelope is mandatory. (USPS Express or Priority mail envelopes with delivery confirmation only)
